Week 10

Hey all,

This week has actually been insane! To start, I did an exchange with my District Leader, which is basically where he comes to the area I'm serving in for 24 hours to see what it's like and better understand how to help us improve the area. It was really fun, his name is Elder Francis and he's a pretty awesome district leader. We did quite a bit of service and ate some local pizza.

On Wednesday, as we were driving to our district council (which is our weekend meeting to discuss our specific areas) we got a call saying we were getting a new companion from the states! His name is Elder Yeager from Layton, Utah. He's super fun and has been out for a year before coming to Vancouver. His arrival meant we had to rearrange the apartment but it all worked out in the end.

The rest of the week was similar to the rest of the Transfer, we did service quite a bit along with meetings and lessons where we can.

It's been hectic and a little stressful trying to organize everything but it's been a really good learning experience. I'm grateful for the chance to have this happen early in my mission since it makes me learn skills that will help me throughout the rest of the mission and life.

I hope everyone is doing well, and hope you remember that the Lord loves you and cares for you individually. Best wishes,

Elder Jacobowski
