Week 40

Hey all!     This week was a bit of a slower one, but that doesn't mean there weren't a ton of awesome miracles that happened! Let's jump straight into it.     To start off our week, we had the chance to be part of a new missionary workshop that was just introduced! It basically gave extra resources the missionaries who are training or in training while they are in the field, so it was really helpful. It also gave me ideas on a training I could give at my first district council that I'm leading, which happened the next day.     So on Wednesday like I mentioned I led my first district council. I was honestly pretty nervous haha, but it actually worked out quite well in my opinion. We were able to do a fun activity together, feel the Spirit and council with each other on some of our friends and how we can best help them. We ended it off with a group brunch, which was also a lot of fun! We ended Wednesday off by meeting with out friend Mitch, who is a returnin...

Hey Everyone! It's been an awesome couple of weeks, and I'm stoked to tell you all about it! Let's jump right in!     Week 38     Was a pretty crazy one, since we actually got to contact a whole ton of new people for the ESL program our mission runs! It's definitely a bit different now that I'm a district leader as I have more responsibility during these meetings, haha. It's been a bit stressful but a really good learning experience, and I'm glad President Wahlen trusts me to do this.     During the Zone Conference I also got to see...

Alright, this time is not my fault, hahaha, yesterday I learned that due to some issues with my emails my mom never got my “week 36 email” and that is why this will be once again a combined one. Week 36 This week was a pretty awesome one. I got to experience some new things, and also got to see lots of amazing miracles. To start off our week, we got to go up to Whistler with some members from the ward. It was amazing! The little town up there right next to the ski mountains had so many cool things, even though it was all super expensive haha. The members were super generous and bought us some clothes and they got us tickets to a light show in the mountains. It was such a cool time, and we even made it back home in time. Later in the week, we were all able to go to a Brazilian steakhouse in downtown Vancouver. It was really good, but the bill made me cry, haha. There were a lot of people from Brazil there, and they all commented on my accent which was pretty funny. Something that comes ...
