Week 9

Sorry I didn't send out an email last week, we got quite busy and it was difficult to get any writing or typing done. This week was just as busy but I'm committed to at least write this week haha.

It's been a really good couple weeks for service in Mission, but the famous BC rainy season seems to have arrived earlier than normal this year. It's not strong rain like I'm used too in Ontario, but it does sprinkle or shower pretty much everyday now, with some nice breaks in-between. Doesn't stop the work from going forward though! I've been able to see so many amazing blessings and miracles through just trying to help out the community, and I've been able to see how the Lord is willing to help those who put in effort.

While we haven't been able to have many dedicated lessons, we have been able to share messages of Christ with a lot more people lately. It kinda culminated in me giving my first talk Sunday the 22nd, which also meant I could invite even more people to church as they knew me. It was awesome seeing people who normally don't attend watch the service!

Pday last week is when I finally got my first mission field haircut, which is a little nerve-wracking at first, haha (miss you Anita Wigg Sprickerhoff) . I think it worked out though. We've also had tons of changes in CVM itself, as the borders open we're getting tons of missionaries from other places coming to their original call. This pday should be exciting meeting all these new missionaries, and it just reminds me that I've already been out over 2 months, which is insane to me.

Hope you're all doing well, and know that the Lord watches over and cares for you.

Love all of ya,
Elder Jacobowski
