Week 19
Hey everyone!
This week was quite different from my other Transfer weeks, especially since I didn't actually get transferred, haha. Since Elder Whitney and I are both staying we didn't really need to adjust all that much. For a few days we weren't sure if we were still social media leaders, but we are now sure that we still are!
Honestly, missionary life doesn’t change much from week to week, we just keep going and talking to as many people as possible about the gospel, but there was a pretty awesome ward Halloween party on Saturday. It was a primary activity (the young kids) and it was a lot of fun. We met with tons of different ward members and I was actually able to meet a family from Brazil! They're named the Diniz's and the father is from Sao Paulo. Looking forward to see and talk to them again to practice my Portuguese and ask where I can find Brazilian stuff in Langley, I am craving some guarana, lol.
Our landlord gave us a “new to us” vacuum and it was pretty cool throwing our old one in the garbage.
Overall it was a great week and I'm excited for what is to come!
Hope everyone is doing well,
