Weeks 71 & 72
These past weeks were pretty hectic, let's get straight into it!
We had some awesome miracles this past week, as both Lindsay and Beth responded and we were able to have some amazing lessons with them. Lindsay is progressing really well, and I'm super excited for her progress to continue. Beth is also doing well, and she's even said she would like to join the Relief Society activity in a couple weeks.
We also found some new friends through service, which is pretty exciting as it had been a while since we last found people who showed genuine interest. Pretty happy to see how the work is coming, the Lord really is with us.
Also got the chance to explore some more of the area with Elder Spencer and Elder Webb on an exchange, it was pretty nice to show him around as it'd be a while since I visited some of the spots. Winter also came around with snow falling, it's a bit sucky since I don't like snow that much, but it's pretty cool to see after spending my last winter in North Vancouver.
Right at the end of week 72 we got our transfer calls, and I'm actually moving out to Chilliwack! It was a pretty surprising call, as I'm actually going to work in a trio with Elder Barlow from before and Elder Maher who I haven't met yet. Little sad I have to leave Salmon Arm but I'm excited for this next step.
To end my time in Salmon Arm, the Edis invited us over and made "Feijoada" for us! Feijoada is a very famous and traditional Brazilian dish which I like it very much. It was definitely a blast from home, as my mom even made "how to" videos so that they could try making the recipe. It was super good, and I really appreciated the thought.
Hope you all are doing well, the work keeps going and God is good!
Elder J
