Weeks 75 & 76
I'm just going to jump straight into it, you all already know I'm bad at emailing on time haha.
So these past couple weeks were pretty great. I got to go back to my first area in Mission on an exchange, and even got to visit Ron Purvis again. It was really nice to see him again, I'm glad I was able to get out there.
We also had American Thanksgiving with the Abbotsford Elders, it was sick! We all prepped some kind of food, even though we just bought pies haha. It was great being with them and spending Thanksgiving together.
On the 29th (last P-day of November) we got to go to Cascade Falls out in Mission as a district, followed by getting some lunch together. It was pretty cool, kind of cold but was worth it since the view was still nice.
Once week 76 started, December rolled around, which means lots of Christmas Trees! We helped our friend Luke set his up, as well as answer a bunch of his questions about the church and about God. It was great to see both the progress of the tree and him!
Got to go to Boston Bar over the weekend, it's a tiny city, haha. Barely 200 people live there but it was cool to see. On our way back we stopped at Lake of Woods and also visited Hell's Gate, which is a tourist attraction that goes over the Frasier River in a gondola. Beautiful places.
On December 2nd I hit 18 months as a missionary. It feels weird, haha, I've loved being out here in BC serving the Lord, the time has flown. I'm super grateful for the time I've had so far and am excited for the next 6 months. Let's finish strong!
Hope you all are all doing good, reach out if you need anything.
