Week 100!!!!

Hey everybody, I finally hit triple digits weeks out here in BC! Pretty exciting!!!

This week we had quite a few appointments set up with members of the ward, it was a pretty funny scenario. One of the members made calendars for both sets of missionaries and passed them around on Sunday, but our calendar was underneath the one for the sisters so not many people knew ours was there, which led to very few sign ups. The sister organizing it promised she would "make a sob story" and get the members to sign ours first the following week, and that's exactly what she did, haha. So we ended up at a members home most days of this week which was really nice, I really appreciate all that the members do for us.

We also had the chance to go visit Ron again. It's always nice to see him, we got to help him get ready for the summer a bit with a wardrobe update, he's also making great progress on walking again after his injury which is great to see, I'm really proud of him.

Finally we had a mission tour on Monday where one of the General Authority's of the church came and spoke to a bunch of us missionaries. His name was Elder Gary Sabin, and he knew a ton about scripture and had a bunch of the verses memorized which was really cool. He also talked about renewing my mission call with the time I have left, which has given me a bit of a different perspective on the time I have remaining here in BC. I'm so grateful for the chance I have to be out here and the experiences I get to have.

It was great to see some of my ex companions during the mission tour, probably the last time that will happen, at least for a while.

Hopefully all of you are doing well, if you have any questions about any of the stuff I've been doing this past almost 2 years, reach out! I'd love to chat.

Elder Jacobowski
