Weeks 96, 97 & 98

I'm still really bad at keeping up to date on these emails, but that doesn't mean cool stuff hasn't been happening! Let me get right into it.

We had the really cool chance to make a video for a song Elder Whiting is working on. I can't give many details as it hasn't been released yet, but if you wanna look up Anchored in Christ on Facebook, one of his other videos is there. He's really talented and it was a lot of fun filming it. (There's fire involved haha).

We also had the chance to meet with a few new friends, Manjit and Sandy, Christine and John. They're all awesome, definitely had some interest in what we do as missionaries as well as the message we share. It was great getting to talk to them all about the gospel and the happiness it brings. I'm excited to continue working with them, along with my new companion Elder Creighton.

Elder Whiting actually got transferred out of Abbotsford after our 1 transfer together which was kind of surprising, but before he left he had his birthday! It was a funny day of normal missionary work with the occasional shocked reaction when they heard it was his birthday, and that same thing happened to me haha. I had my birthday a couple days ago, officially making me 21! It was definitely a weird feeling doing all the normal stuff as a missionary while getting messages wishing me happy birthday. Normally I'm the one sending out messages, funny reversal.

Back to my new companion, Elder Creighton is from Saskatchewan and has been out on his mission one transfer less than me, so we're both kind of old missionaries haha. It's weird being in my last transfer with someone who's close to theirs as well, he gets to see what's next in store.

I'm loving it out here, sad I'm coming to the end of my time in BC but I'm excited to finish strong and continue to talk about Jesus Christ with as many people as I can! This has been the greatest decision I could have made, and I'm glad I'm here.
