Week 102 - The Last One!

This day came much faster than I thought it ever would. I'm officially on my last day as a missionary for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints here in British Columbia. It's a weird feeling, lots of mixed emotions behind all of it, but I'll talk a bit more about that at the end.

This week was a lot of visiting friends in the ward. We had some great meetings and wonderful conversations, along with getting to say goodbye to some close friends. The Noftles, Ron and Bishop Cruz stand out as they were a big part of my time here in BC, especially the Mission and Abbotsford areas, and I'm super grateful for them and the love they showed me.

I also got to continue doing service for the people in the area right up until the last day which was really cool. Helping Brother Desjardins was always a great time and glad I got to do it to the end, also helping out with Stan's 83rd birthday was pretty fun.

We also got a cool chance to help with setting up Moroni's quest at the Price Farm. The scaffolding was definitely a little sketchy but we made it work, hopefully they'll go in and reinforce it.

To wrap up we had a nice district activity out in Steelhead Falls and at Rocko's diner. It's been cool getting to be in the area I started in, and see the changes as well as the things that stayed the same.

I'm so grateful I had the chance to serve as a missionary. It's been an amazing 2 years, and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. I've come to truly feel that Jesus Christ is there for all of us, supporting us every step of the way. Through the ups and downs He's been there every step of the way, and I'm grateful for that. If you'd like to hear more of my experiences that I've had these past couple of years, feel free to reach out!
